DHX MEDIA SIGNS DEAL WITH AMAZON’S EUROPEAN DIGITAL STREAMING CHANNEL

Halifax, NS – 21 November 2012 – DHX Media Ltd (“DHX”) (TSX: DHX), a leading independent international producer, distributor and licensor of mainly children’s entertainment content, has partnered with Amazon’s European digital media subsidiary on a non-exclusive SVOD UK license adding close to 1,000 half hours, to their existing offering, of DHX’s classic children’s TV shows such as Inspector Gadget and Dennis The Menace.

The SVOD service is provided through Amazon’s European digital media subsidiary, LOVEFiLM – Europe’s largest subscription service. The subscription video on demand (SVOD) deal will offer members access to thousands of new, premium quality children’s TV series from DHX’s extensive library such as Mona the Vampire, Paddington Bear andSonic the Hedgehog.
