Halifax, NS – 29 May 2018 – DHX Brands, the dedicated brand management and consumer products arm of DHX Media (TSX: DHX.A, DHX.B; NASDAQ: DHXM) today announced that 10 new episodes of the much-loved Teletubbies series are bouncing onto CBeebies and CBeebies iPlayer exclusively, June 4, 2018.
To coincide with the new episodes, DHX Brands is launching Tubby Playdate, a national U.K. campaign spanning digital media, editorial and influencer marketing. The Tubby Playdate campaign promotes the value of play among little ones and encourages their families to get their children playing with others. Featured in the integrated campaign is a two-week takeover of popular parenting website UKMumsTV, a blogger outreach campaign and a feature interview with leading research psychologist Dr. Amanda Gummer, who will share her top-ten tips on hosting a playdate.
To support the Tubby Playdate campaign, DHX Brands has teamed up with Biba and launched Teletubbies Playground Pals, an innovative and fun new app for preschoolers that encourages them to get active and play outdoors, just like the fun-loving Teletubbies. The app is now available to download for all iOS and Android devices.
