Iconic Degrassi franchise secures four nods 

DHX Television receives a combined six nominations 

Halifax, NS – 19 January 2016 – DHX Media Ltd. (“DHX” or the “Company”) (TSX: DHX.A, DHX.B), a key player internationally in the creation of content for families and children, has received 25 nominations for the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards, as announced earlier today by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. The nominations celebrate the superior writing, directing and performance skills for a range of DHX’s live action and animated work, including popular series This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Degrassi, Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage), Slugterra and Endangered Species. As previously announced, This Hour Has 22 Minutes will also be presented with the Academy Icon Award in addition to its multiple series nominations.
